Yet Another “Goose Chase”

After a fun morning of birding on Sandy Hook with RF, we decided to take a ride down to Shelter Cove Park in Tom’s River – after checking out the sports fields, we ran into another birder who told us where the Ross’ Geese were. They were in plain sight, hanging out with some Canada geese, on a little patch of land on the bay. Really great looks at these geese. A few times, they flew off only to circle, and return to the same spot. Yet another cool goose sighting in NJ!
